VOLUNTEER

Do you watch your kids games? Enjoy using a camera? We’re always looking for someone to record sports and other events around town. We accept any format. To volunteer, send an email to staff @bedford.tv or fill in the contact form below.

GET CONNECTED
There are many ways to connect with us. Any Bedford resident, organization, business or student can become a member of Bedford TV. As a member you can:
• Produce your own program using our equipment.
• Take classes in all aspects of video production.
• Attend our Annual Meeting

Membership per year is $25 for Individuals, $15 for Seniors and Students and $50 for Organizations.

Businesses and organizations can sponsor a program or a series.

LEARN
Classes can be scheduled by appointment . Please call 781-275-5004 to schedule. All classes are held in the Bedford TV studio, located in the Old Town Hall, 16 South Road, 2nd Floor. We have classes available for High School Students at BHS during X block. We also accommodate High School and College students through our internship programs. UPCOMING WINTER 2011 CLASSES FOR STUDENTS IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Session 1: Basic Video Production
This seriously fun course teaches you the basics of video production. This class will introduce you to some important shooting techniques. We will show you how to get your footage onto the computer and then begin the process of editing, which includes adding titles, transitions and music.
Meets on Wednesdays for 4 weeks from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Location: BTV Studio
Session 1 Meets in January 2011

Session 2: Advanced Video Production
This course is designed for students who have already taken a basic video production class here at Bedford TV. We will cover advanced shooting techniques and special effects as well as advanced editing and dvd creation. You will also learn about compression techniques and file formats needed for uploading video to the web.
Meets on Wednesdays for 4 weeks from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Location: BTV Studio

Fee: $50
