Membership is free to anyone who lives, works, studies or belongs to an organization in Bedford, MA. You can take FREE video classes. You can check out equipment to use for your own productions. You can help record events around town. You will also meet other fun and interesting people at Bedford TV!

Classes

Bedford TV offers a wide variety of classes for all age ranges. All classes are held in the Bedford TV studio, located in the Old Town Hall, 16 South Road, 2nd Floor. Classes for elementary and middle school children (grades 3-8) are offered through the Bedford Recreation Department. For high-school ages and beyond, we offer on-demand classes at the studio. Email staff@bedford.tv to schedule a class.   

A sampling of our classes:

Intro to Post Production: 14+

This FREE class introduces students to the basics of Final Cut Pro X. Students will learn how to bring footage from an SD card, trim clips, and add titles and music. This class is a prerequisite for more advanced Final Cut courses.

Intro to Studio Production: 14+

This FREE class introduces students to the basics of Studio Production: camera, audio and switcher. At the end of the course.students will have an understanding of the studio cameras and shot composition, audio set up and monitoring, and basic switching and monitoring.

Intro to Field Production: 14+

This class introduces students to the basics of setting up a camera and microphone, recording footage to an SD card. The students will work through a checklist of what it takes to set up a basic field shoot and will be certified to check out field equipment.

We want to show your videos! Only videos from legal residents, students and people who work in Bedford, MA, USA will be accepted.  No commercial content that promotes any product or service. Email staff@bedford.tv to submit your videos.

Do you want to get  experience and training in all aspects of Video Production? Are you in need of community service hours? Consider volunteering or interning at Bedford TV. Email staff@bedford.tv for more info.

Request Coverage

Bedford TV offers media coverage of non-commercial Bedford Events.  The organization holding the event must be a member of Bedford TV. The event must be free and/or open to the public.. There are no restrictions on the program being shown on Bedford TV cable channels or our YouTube channel. We can not honor all requests for coverage. Email staff@beford.tv to request coverage.

How do I get a show on Bedford TV?

Program Producer

Individuals, families, organizations and businesses of Bedford can become Bedford TV members, take training classes and produce their own shows!

Program Presenter

If you live, work or study in Bedford, you can present a show that may have been produced elsewhere. Just fill out a Producer Presenter Program Release form and drop the show off to Bedford TV studios.
